Rescue Mission of Utica Looking for Help with Christmas Meal Deliveries

The Rescue Mission of Utica is looking for volunteers to help deliver meals to those in need this Christmas.
UTICA, N.Y. – The Rescue Mission of Utica is looking for volunteers to help deliver meals to those in need this Christmas.
Anyone willing and available to make deliveries on Christmas day can 315-735-1645 ext. 2103 to sign up to be a delivery driver. People who are homebound and in need of a Christmas meal can also call that number Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. through Dec. 24 to schedule a delivery.
Christmas dinners will be available for pickup only at 201 Rutger St. from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Dec. 25. Deliveries will be made to homebound recipients by 1 p.m.
The Rescue Mission is also in need of food donations to put the Christmas meals together. They are looking for pre-packaged ham, as well as commercially packaged dressing and pies. Donations can be dropped off to the Rutger Street location from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. through Dec. 23.
