Community News page A4 UTICA Rescue Mission of Utica seeks food donations, drivers The Rescue Mission of Utica is in need of food donations of commercially packaged dressing and pies for its Thanksgiving dinners to help feed those in need.
Donated items can be dropped off from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily until Tuesday, Nov. 24, at its food service building at 201 Rutger St.
Volunteer drivers to deliver Thanksgiving dinners also are needed. To volunteer, call 315-735-1645, ext. 2103.
Thanksgiving dinners will be served to the community in to-go containers from 11:30 to 1 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 26, at the food services building.
Thanksgiving dinners will be delivered to the homebound by 1 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, Nov. 26.
To schedule a delivery, call 315-735-1645 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. by Tuesday, Nov. 24.
