Rescue Mission of Utica offering “to-go” and delivery for Christmas dinners

The Rescue Mission of Utica will be offering Christmas dinners both via delivery and to-go this year, according to a statement from the organization.

“To-go” dinners will be served from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Christmas Day at the organization’s food services building at 201 Rutger St. in Utica, the statement said. Dinners will also be delivered to the homebound by 1 p.m. that day.

To schedule a delivery, call (315) 735-1645 between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. weekdays until Thursday.

Volunteer drivers can sign up by calling Demetria Lunny at 315-735-1645, ext. 2103, the statement said. The organization also is in need of donations of pre-packaged ham, commercially-packaged dressing and commercially-packaged pies for Christmas dinners. These can be dropped off at the food services building between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. through Wednesday.
