24th Annual Gourmet Guys to the Rescue

Sunday, October 30th at Hart’s Hill Inn in Whitesboro marked our 24th Annual Gourmet Guys to the Rescue Event. There were over 200 in attendance who got to sample specialty dishes from “celebrity” and professional chefs.

This year’s winners were:

Appetizer/Soup – 1st Place – Anthony Picente, New England Clam Chowder. 2nd Place – Willie White – Cornbread

Entree – 1st Place – Mike Parsons, Pork Tenderloin. 2nd Place Bill Badolato – Shrimp Campenelle

Dessert – 1st Place – Tom Cole, Heritage Pumpkin Dip w/Leaf Cookies. 2nd Place – Andy Cash & Jim Rondenelli, Pumpkin Cream Cheese Cake Pops.

Best Presentation – Joe Schmidt, Pirate’s Stew

Professional Chef Best Dish – John Luciano for his Pork Tenderloin wrapped around a roasted cinnamon apple.
