Mohawk Valley’s New Hope: Tackling Homelessness Head-On

October 23, 2025

At the Rescue Mission of Utica, we’re dedicated to addressing homelessness in our community by meeting both immediate and long-term needs. Through our Emergency Shelter, we provide men safe housing, warm meals, and essential care for individuals in crisis. Our Drop-In Center offers a welcoming space where anyone can come for food, showers, clothing, and connections to helpful resources. Beyond emergency support, our Addiction Stabilization Center, Enriched Living Center, and Parker House Aftercare Program help people rebuild their lives through recovery services, mental health care, life skills development, and job readiness training. Together, these programs reflect our mission to not only meet basic needs but to restore dignity, stability, and hope for those experiencing homelessness across the Mohawk Valley.
