Rescue Mission of Utica continued its tradition of caring for the community on Christmas Day, serving a warm holiday meal to individuals and families in need across the Mohawk Valley.
The annual Christmas Day Dinner Service was held on December 25 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Rescue Mission’s Food Service Building, located at 201 Rutger Street in Utica. Community members were welcomed for on-site dining, offering not only a meal but also a sense of connection and comfort on the holiday.
In addition to serving guests at the Food Service Building, Rescue Mission of Utica provided meal deliveries to homebound individuals, ensuring that those unable to attend in person were still able to enjoy a hot Christmas meal. All deliveries were completed by 1:00 p.m. on Christmas Day.
The Christmas Day dinner is part of the Rescue Mission’s ongoing commitment to supporting individuals and families facing hunger, homelessness, and hardship. Each year, the organization works to ensure that no one has to go without a meal on one of the most meaningful days of the year.
Through the dedication of staff, volunteers, and community supporters, Rescue Mission of Utica continues to provide hope, nourishment, and compassion to neighbors throughout the Mohawk Valley—on Christmas Day and every day.
