Spiritual Life Program
The Bible tells us to “go forth and make disciples” (Matthew 28:19-20). The primary emphasis of the Rescue Mission’s Spiritual Life Program is to train men in the principles of the Kingdom.
These principles include:
- Spiritual assessment
- Spiritual counseling
- Bible study
- Spiritual surveys
- Baptism
- Chapel services (6 pm Sun. & Wed.)
- One-on-one and group sessions
- Assistance into the local church
- Marital counseling and reconciliation
- Life-skills education and training
In 2019, 150 Chapel services were held. Over 2,000 individuals attended Bible study, devotions, and other spiritual enrichment opportunities. Forty-five individuals made faith decisions for Christ.
“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age” (Matthew 28:19-20).
