Our Programs

The Thread of Life Thrift Store is an outreach program of Rescue Mission of Utica. Our mission is to provide good resaleable clothing and other goods at reasonable prices. Profits are used to support our many Rescue Mission of Utica programs and services. Any goods we have not sold we distribute to other local community organizations.

We accept donations of goods during our normal hours of operation. We request that items be seasonal, clean, and in good working order. We cannot accept furniture, child car seats, or large items (due to limited space).

We have a large selection of clothing for men, women, children, and infants; including shoes, boots and outerwear. We also offer housewares, curtains, small appliances, linens, books, toys, CDs, DVDs, records, crafts, jewelry, seasonal and miscellaneous items.
