UTICA, N.Y. – Local realtors from Coldwell Banker Faith Properties donated dozens of turkeys to the Utica Rescue Mission Friday, and delivered them in a special way.
The realtors formed a line from an SUV full of turkeys to the door of the Rescue Mission, and had a ‘Turkey Toss,’ passing each bird down the line.
“This is where we live. This is where we all, where we eat, this is where we all raise our families, where we’re from, this is our community and it’s important to take care of ourselves first,” said John Brown, a realtor at Coldwell Banker Faith Properties.
An estimated 50 turkeys were donated to the Rescue Mission by Coldwell Banker Faith.
