Normally the mission holds a church service and sit-in meal service. This year, the mission had to do meals via takeout and delivery only. Volunteers packed to-go boxes full of turkey, stuffing, and mashed potatoes
“The most important thing is that we meet the needs of the community and we’re doing that. We’re doing it a different way this year, but we’re able to do it and we’re grateful for that. We’re grateful for the volunteers that have shown up, we’re grateful for everybody making this possible. We have such a great community; we see that on days like this,” said Ernie Talerico, Director of Operations.
Talerico would like to thank the community for the overwhelming support this holiday season.
