The Rescue Mission of Utica Board of Directors is pleased to announce the appointment of James (Jim) Haid as the new Executive Director effective September 22, 2014.
Jim has extensive experience in issues relating to homelessness, poverty and ministry. “It is with great pleasure that I join the team of staff and volunteers at the Rescue Mission of Utica. I am incredibly humbled and extremely honored to serve my new colleagues and my new community as Executive Director. It is a privilege to become part of an organization that has been making such a positive impact on this great community for over 124 years,” states Haid.
Jim and his wife Beth have five children, all in college. They have called Niagara County home for over 20 years and are currently seeking residence in the Utica area.

Each year, the Rescue Mission serves more than 211,000 meals to the hungry, provides over 43,000 nights of lodging and care to those facing homelessness, and assists over 1,000 men and women in their battle against substance abuse.
